Sustainability
At Ancora Sport Hotel, we truly care about the land around us and its future. Every day, we work to reduce our impact on the environment through conscious choices. Small daily actions become meaningful and concrete decisions.
Local products, straight from our land
Ancora Sport Hotel has its own large vegetable garden. Season after season, it provides fresh, high-quality products from the Venetian countryside, supplying our kitchen every day with natural and genuine ingredients
Electric vehicle charging station
Our hotel offers a charging station for electric vehicles in the parking area, available to all guests. Even small actions like this can help make a positive difference for our planet.
Solar energy for a sustainable stay
We actively invest in renewable energy through modern photovoltaic systems installed on the property. This allows us to produce a significant part of the electricity we use every day, reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and lowering CO₂ emissions.
Using clean solar energy is a key step toward a more sustainable and eco-friendly hotel, in line with our vision of responsible hospitality.
Underfloor heating with geothermal energy
In the common areas of the hotel, we use an underfloor heating system powered by geothermal energy.
The water used in the system comes from a deep underground well, where the temperature remains constant throughout the year. Through a system of pumps, the natural heat from the ground is used to efficiently warm spaces such as the lobby, corridors, and relaxation areas.
Once the heating cycle is complete, the water is not wasted but becomes part of an integrated sustainable system
A natural and sustainable water cycle
The water is redirected to the golf course lakes and irrigation system. It helps maintain two natural lakes, which create a balanced microclimate, and supports the irrigation of the golf course. Thanks to the natural mineral content, it also reduces the need for chemical fertilizers.
These lakes are also a natural ecosystem, home to aquatic life, frogs, insects, birds, and many other species that support local biodiversity.
Through this continuous cycle between underground water, geothermal systems, lakes, and irrigation, the water gradually returns to the ground, helping to replenish the natural water reserves over time.
